Per current CDC recommendations, face masks are encouraged but not required in our offices. Our staff and physicians will continue to wear masks when around individual patients during their registration or examination, if the patient prefers them to do so. Dr. John Onufer is a board certified electrophysiologist. He attended medical school and was fellowship trained in cardiology and electrophysiology at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Onufer has special competency in cardiac pacing and cardioversion defibrillation and has been the principal investigator in numerous research studies to promote the development of innovative therapies for heart rhythm disorders. He is a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the American Heart Association and Heart Rhythm Society.
