Our staff and physicians will continue to wear masks when around individual patients during their registration or examination if the individual patient prefers them to do so. Dr. John Onufer, Electrophysiologist will be returning to Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists on October
1, 2019 seeing patients at our Forest Medical Plaza office. Dr. John Onufer has personally performed over 3,000 catheter ablation procedures and implanted over 2,000 pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators. Dr. Onufer has also been the principal investigator in numerous research studies to promote the development of innovative therapies for heart rhythm disorders. He was recently recognized as “Top Doctor” by Chicago Magazine.
