VCS COVID-19 Guidelines

We understand patients are worried about the coronavirus but please do not ignore heart symptoms. Timely patient care is important in limiting potential damage to your health. For more information click here.

Governor Northam has lifted the ban on performing elective surgeries in Virginia. Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists is now scheduling procedures at local hospitals following CDC and local Health Department recommendations. Specific facility recommendations can be found on our website here.

As a reminder if you have an upcoming appointment we ask that patients do the following:

  1. Wear a mask or scarf to cover your nose and mouth. Instructions to make a mask linked here.
  2. Limit visitors to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring children.

All VCS staff and providers are following CDC guidelines and wearing masks in the office. We are also maintaining social distancing in our waiting rooms and sanitizing work services.
